Understanding your customer base (both current and potential) is an essential part of running your business — but that's only the beginning when it comes to communicating with them.  Knowing your customer base is like seeing the target.  Any good archer knows that after the target is identified there's still a lot of work to be done and questions to ask.  What are the weather conditions like?  Is it windy?  Humid?  How far is the target?  Are there elevation issues at hand?  Is the target moving?
